Fearless Faith

I am a firm believer in the importance of storytelling. As a writer, I believe that everyone has been given a voice that deserves to be shared with the world. The world would be boring if the same people kept telling their stories to people. It wouldn't make anything exciting and it would all start to sound the same after a while. Everyone is unique and God has made us rightfully so. Therefore, our stories need to be told. But, it takes fearless faith to do so.

I think that all of this has been leading up to this one idea of fearless faith. But of course, the nerd in me has to give you a definition of fearless for all of this to make sense.

Fearless (adj). lacking fear

You are choosing to not welcome fear or anxiety into your heart and your mind. You are choosing not to allow fear or anxiety to take over your faith. Essentially, you are not allowing your faith to be penetrated by fear. You have the strength to believe that God is who he says he is and he will do everything he has told you.

But we must live out fearless faith each day. It means getting out of our comfort zone and living a life that trusts God even when it's scary and even when it's a big jump.

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him" Hebrew 11:6

Our strength all boils down to one thing: having faith. Your strength is all built on your faith. This can be hard to have fearless faith. You are betting everything you have on your faith and allowing God to do His work. It's scary. There can be times where you are fearless and you fully believe, but then you always have that sliver of the doubt when it doesn't happen like you expect or it doesn't happen in the timeline you wanted.

What I have learned throughout this series is that my strength does not solely come from doing things alone, it comes from doing things with God and for God. At first, I wasn't sure about this series. I had gotten the idea one night and wrote everything down, but I was convinced that this was going to start in the new year. But then I heard from God and he asked me "why would you wait?" Having fearless faith means we must push ourselves to do things without worrying about my own fears. Fearless Faith is jumping for what God wants us to do and knowing that God would give us the strength to achieve anything.

"Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance" James 1:3

By allowing God into the process he gives us the wisdom and clarity that we need. He knows who we are, but we have to take the time to learn who we are in him. The moment you give God your heart, you can allow your faith to grow. Your faith has to be strong in order for you to achieve the vision that God has placed before you.

What you have and who you are is valuable. It is worth something. You just have to give yourself the chance to open up to God. God already knows us. He created us. Therefore we need to believe that we can achieve anything with God. But, it all starts with our faith, which cannot be activated until you build your strength. When you have fearless faith, it allows you to keep going. You can know that God is always going to be with you and he will never leave you. He's always there with you. So, why not tell your story? Why not be fearless? Why not give the world what God wants you to share. You are worthy of God's love and strong enough to tell your story.
